Mahogany Run Saint Bernards

Welcome to Mahogany Run Saint Bernards

Welcome to our hobby kennel. Mahogany Run Saint Bernards is located near Athens, Georgia, in the heart of UGA country. Our four children help with all the care of our dogs and co-own some of the puppies born in our kennel. Handsome Rob won his class at the Saint Bernard CLub of America National specialty in 2005, but died shortly after. He was a dog that will be hard to replace, that took a piece of my heart with him. Owning a Saint Bernard brings the most wonderful experiences and some of the most heartbreaking. We have been breeding and showing Saint Bernards since 1995 and are always working to improve our next breeding. We show our Saint Bernards to their AKC championship and breed selected dogs after they have finished their championship. We look at what each dog can add to our breeding program and if they are not better than the last litter, we spay, or neuter as a rule. We only breed once or twice a year, depending on the size of the last litter.

We are members of the Saint Bernard Club Of America and have held office, at our local club, the Saint Bernard Club of Greater Atlanta. Bruno was the President, Vice-President, and I served as co-chair to the local Saint show, as well as editor to the clubs newsletter. This is a hobby that we feel very passionate about and will always strive to keep our part in this breed, better than we started. Owner/Breeders-Bruno and Debbie Denis.

On these pages you will find photographs and other information about our Saint Bernards. If you are interested in purchasing a Saint Bernard puppy we urege you to visit dog shows in your area and see adult dogs in person. Many people are influenced by the cute little puppy and become dismayed when the little puppy grows quickly to a 150 pound member of the family....
